Wijnand (1988) is a self-taught mixed-media artist working with acrylics, spray paint, and street posters. His work sits somewhere between street and pop. Colourful, bold, and energetic.

Wijnand doesn’t stick to one style. He moves between portraits, abstract pieces, and urban-inspired work, driven by whatever idea hits him at that moment. Travel, cultural contrasts, and city life fuel his creativity. Strong lines, vibrant colours, and intentional imperfections run through all his pieces.

Urban elements appear often; silhouettes, reflections, graffiti textures, and light that hint at the rhythm of the streets. There’s also a touch of nostalgia in his work, with subtle references to classic cartoons and the playful visuals he grew up with. Paint drips, rough edges, and spontaneous marks are part of his process, not something he hides.

His art reflects the world as he sees it: direct, colourful, imperfect, and full of life.

“Art doesn’t have to be clean. It breathes, cracks, and spills. That’s what makes it real.”
